Very Important Point – Whats the difference between an DCI approved college & DCI recognized college ?
Approved colleges are those colleges which have taken approval to conduct BDS/MDS courses and can take admissions to courses. But they are still pending a full recognition which will be granted after DCI inspection. Though, students can take admission in those colleges.
Recognized colleges are those who have been formally recognized by the DCI to under take BDS & MDS admissions.
- Before joining & applying for any dental college for BDS or MDS, check about the status of the college in the DCI website.
- DCI has a complete up to date list of the dental colleges that are approved to take admission. Always be careful and don’t take admission or pay money to college if you have any doubt.
- It’s always better to be careful. If you are not then in the end your degree might not be approved and you will end up not only loosing money but a lot of valuable years of your career.
