hello Deb, i’m doing MDS endo IIIrd yd. can u pls tell me, how can anyone join Indian navy or Airforce as dentist. also, is it easier (?) 2 join army after PG. pls help, dint get any info on this.

    • Deb May 1, 2012 at 6:10 pm - Reply

One can join army as BDS or MDS …

There is usually one common exam for selection . One written & One SSB Interview .

In Instances MDS candidates go directly for the interview . There is always cut off marks . That is used to decide candidates for interview .

The article above and few more articles in the website gives you the basic info on this . Just keep a tack about the openings by subscribing to the Employment News Papers .

    hello sir.
I just want to know about the final year marks i should be having to clear the cutoff..i mean where can i find that above what % candidates where called for interview..(for bds students)..not asking about the 55% eligibility criteria

    • Deb October 20, 2012 at 11:24 am - Reply

Cut Off Goes High … I have heard it goes up to 65% minimum … Also the repeat attempts also count …

  16. ruby January 2, 2013 at 1:06 am - Reply

sir,i’ve been a good student(securing more than 60% in the first three years of BDS) .I had heard about ADC long time ago and ever since,i yearned to enter this respectable job $ i knew how imp. it is to secure good marks in final year.My final year exams were this year in october-nov. month.Sady,my father expired on 15th november. i had to miss one theory paper because of that.Rest all the exams i had given barring one on 17th nov. Do u think i might be rejected because of this?(as i’ll be marked ‘absent’ in that subject and will appear for suppl. by march ’13).pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease teel me sir

    • Deb January 2, 2013 at 1:21 am - Reply

I understand the situation doc .

When u apply for ADC , repeat attempts are taken in to notice along with the final marks of the aggregates in BDS final year . So hopefully U have scored well in all the rest papers & try to do ur best in the supplement exam . Apply when the time comes for ADC . Don’t worry forms are not rejected . All depends on the types and marks of the other candidates who have applied … that will decide the cut off …
